While most people may not know the brand “p.jamas”, they will probably know the biography of the designer behind this luxury sleepwear company. Upon leaving Vogue magazine, Esperanza Diaz Mañas was asked by a friend to design a line of sleepwear, now known as Notori. Although she established her own sleepwear line in 2000, Esperanza has created private label for Christian Dior Sleepwear, Donna Karan Intimates and Oscar de la Renta Sleepwear.
All aspects of crafting the p.jamas sleepwear are quite intricate including the choice of fabrics, adornments and detailing. Egyptian cotton is spun in Switzerland and woven in Italy to create the highest quality possible. The company actually makes its own knits and the buttons are Japanese mother of pearl.
